We recently purchased 5 of the AKV Cycle Counters for our UH-1H fleet. We had requested that the counters include a custom feature to count the rotor system RIN cycles along with the standard engine cycles. This would take care of all of our cycle counting needs. "We installed the DCS1100 in our AS350B3e. Installation went smoothly, no hiccups. We liked the kit, very well built, good fitment, very complete and the instructions and drawings are clear and straightforward. Two of us got the install done in an 8 hour shift excluding paperwork (the aircraft was already opened up for a check which helped). I followed the instructions and had no problems with the USB/serial cable and the software (PuTTy, graphing and firmware update). The FLI APP worked flawlessly during the flight test and the pilots loved the FLI repeater, works like a charm. We have also just done the SB that bumps NR to 400 rpm when there’s a load on the hook on that machine so between the 2 upgrades it makes for a good aerial work machine to fly."
