The SIB100 is designed to interface with the Onboard Weighing Systems C-39, C-40 and MSI indicators. The new C-40 indicator does not support the Onboard Remote Analogue Meter P/N 210-180-00 (shown Below) and is why AKV developed the iOS App. As the App also supports the C-39 and MSI indicators, it therefore provides a common remote display between these indicators.
The SIB100 provides additional benefits by replacing the Onboard C30 data recorder that is discontinued. In the App background, a “Lift Report” function records the GEO position of the load pick up and drop off locations using the GPS chip within the iOS device. It also records the load count, flight duration, time on hook, and weight of each load with mission totals. This data is emailed from the App at mission completion as a formatted pdf. This is a great tool that provides the operator “proof-of-work” for billing purposes and flight operations. The App is configurable from 2,000 - 60,000 lbs (1,000 - 30,000 kg).
